The counter-frame pocket is made from modular corrugated galvanized steel panels that interlink to allow absorption of any thermal expansion.
The drywall versions of our counter-frames feature 6 horizontal slats spaced accurately to allow fixing of plasterboards on the frame by means of the 19mm self-tapping screws supplied with our counter-frame.

In our version for drywall, the pocket features a rear stainless steel U-shaped double profile.
This double profile allows for a rigid structure as well as fixing the drywall struts against the pocket without the screws damaging the rear of the door, as they are inside the “U”.

Made of galvanized stainless steel, it features pre-moulded lateral flaps that, as they are sunk in the concrete screed or fixed to the floor surface with screws, allow for the counter-frame to be anchored to the ground.

A robust component made by an aluminium guide, two plywood elements and two lateral profiles that set the wall flush. Several holes allow to screw the header to the pocket and to the vertical upright.

Supplied in various thicknesses and sizes, they are made from a natural spruce profile, two extruded aluminium profiles that are flush with the wall and a finished ready-to-paint upright. The kit is completed with two spacer brackets and two rear clamps.

Each counter-frame is supplied with two spacers that allow to keep a consistent distance of the pocket from the wooden upright or, with front doors, between the two pockets.

Front laths are the panel terminals that serve a double purpose, i.e. facilitate the mounting of the door jambs and guide the plaster smoothing jointly with the header and upright sections.

The sliding system comprises an accurately milled aluminium guide and a pair of trolleys/rollers. Lateral and vertical play between the guide and roller is at a minimum thanks to the symmetrical section of the guide itself allowing for a perfect fit to the rollers on both upper and lower ends, resulting in a silent, straight and pitch-free glide.
The trolley & roller core is made from zamak and wheels from delrin, a highly resistant-to-wear material, with shielded ball bearings. Anodized aluminium fixing brackets and slide with front adjustment system. Easy access to the lateral adjustment screw allows for adjustment ease and eliminates any light infiltration above the door.

Trolley & roller tested in compliance with EN 1527 for 100.000 cycles.

Each counter-frame is packaged disassembled in dedicated highly resistant stapled corrugated cardboard boxes. Boxes feature a full description of type, version and size of the enclosed counter-frame. The boxed counter-frames are then stacked horizontally or vertically on specific pallets and then cellophane-wrapped, ready for delivery.
